Biography
Hello!

I am originally from a small town in Tennessee right on the Alabama/Tennessee state line. I graduated from North Jackson High School in 2007. For one year, I attended Shelton State in Tuscaloosa, then transferred to Jacksonville State. I graduated from JSU in December 2010. After graduation, I subbed in Calhoun County and worked at Academy Sports while beginning work on my school counseling degree which I received in May 2014.

The 2023-2024 school year will be my first year to serve Ashville Middle as the school counselor. Previously I taught 7th grade ELA since fall 2012.

When I have spare time, I enjoy making crafts and recipes I find on Pinterest, running, reading, visiting my family in Tennessee, and spending time with my shih-tzus Molly and Abby.
